Initial Session Information:
Therapy generally starts with an intake where I ask a new client a wide range of questions. This session is a means of getting an idea of who someone is and how I may be of help. If the fit doesn’t feel “right”, then the client will have the option to ask for referrals. The fee for this intake is $125.00.
On-going Therapy And Fee Information:
$125 per 50-minute therapy session
$175 for a 90-minute therapy session
$25.00 service charge for all returned checks or declined credit cards.
Insurance Information:
I currently accept health insurance from Cigna and Blue Shield. Please confirm with your insurance regarding your coverage and responsibility for the full amount of the cost.
While I am not a preferred provider for some insurance carriers, your sessions may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I will provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer. However, you will be required to pay for your session at the time of the appointment, then submit for reimbursement at your convenience.
Most will reimburse 40 - 80% of costs (I cannot guarantee this) after fulfilling a deductible.

Victim Compensation Program
Specialized services are available to victims of child abuse, domestic or family violence, elder or dependent adult abuse, gang violence, hate crimes, human trafficking, sexual assault, and surviving family members of homicide victims. If you are a Calif. resident when the crime occured, reasonably cooperative with law enforcement, cooperate with CalVP or CSP staff to verify the application and meet filing deadlines - you may be eligible for mental health reimbursement along with other expenses. Missed Sessions or Late Cancellations:
In order to both organize my practice and guarantee clients regular times, I schedule a single weekly (or biweekly) time slot for a client. Missed sessions are not billable to insurance and will be charged a $75.00 fee when appointments are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Regarding a planning error or preventable miss, the 24 hour policy holds. Missed Session or Late Cancel Fees can be waived for emergent issues only.
